NON EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS

 

1. You (the Licensee) agrees to pay the Licensor a non-refundable fee for the non-exclusive use of the instrumental Beat that is being licensed in this Agreement, for the purpose of creating a New Composition.

2. You will own solely your contributions to the New Composition. Licensor/Producer retains ownership and 100% copyright ownership of the underlying Beat.

3. You have full rights to record, alter, mix the beat/song in any way, shape, or form (except reselling the Beat).

4. Leasing rights allow you to use the beat for ONE commercial recording or broadcast.

5. This recording can then be distributed at your price for up to 5,000 copies.

6. Selling more than 5,000 copies means you must acquire a new lease or exclusive rights.

7. You may also use the Beat for non-profit promotional use or demos. [no free downloads]

8. In the event that someone buys exclusive rights to the Beat you have leased, your rights shall stand and the Beat is still yours to use.

9. You must however give production credit to the Licensor verbally or in writing for any and all distributed material. i.e. Produced by Oppo.

10. Upon purchasing leasing rights, the Licensor still owns the Beat(s) and is able to resell the Beat(s) to any other party until exclusive rights have been purchased.
